The MISA Women’s Forum is currently running an extensive VCT@WORK campaign in the retail motor sector in association with the ILO (International Labour Organisation) and FPD (Foundation for Professional Development).
The campaign offers free voluntary HIV counselling and testing (VCT) and is aimed at assisting with educating employers and employees about HIV.
The project was rolled out in the Eastern Cape Region during April and May 2015 and will also be hosted in the Free State, Natal, Western Province and Northern/Highveld regions during the course of this year.
In the Eastern Cape, 83 people were tested at Maritime Motors and 53 at Kelson Motor Group.
